Home to Wayne State University Department of Pediatrics faculty physicians. Wayne Pediatrics is a comprehensive pediatric practice of experienced medical experts dedicated solely to the health and wellbeing of newborns, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Harris is a board-certified pediatrician who provides health care to infants, children, and adolescents, from birth to 21 years of age. She frequently sees patients for coughs, asthma flares, rashes, sore throats, ear infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal complaints, and fevers, along with other pediatric illnesses. She also sees patients for well care, from birth to adolescence, and can help with common problems, such as concerns with feeding, sleeping, development or school.
Dr. Harris is a lifelong swimmer and has competed since she was six years old through college. She enjoys early morning workouts with her fellow adult Masters Swim team members. She also loves being outside, in or on the water, especially when spending time with her husband and children.
Credentials and Education
Dr. Harris received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She completed pediatric residency training from Baylor Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, TX.
