Home to Wayne State University Department of Pediatrics faculty physicians. Wayne Pediatrics is a comprehensive pediatric practice of experienced medical experts dedicated solely to the health and wellbeing of newborns, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Behar is a board-certified pediatrician who provides health care to infants, children, and adolescents, from birth to 18 years of age. She treats common illnesses and conditions, monitors for patterns that may require additional evaluations, and recommends preventative vaccines and routine testing. She also partners with specialists to support the child’s overall care and makes referrals when appropriate, and utilizes telehealth to ensure her patient’s access to health care.
In her spare time, Dr. Behar is a violinist and is a member of the Detroit Medical Orchestra. She also loves cooking and taking long walks and traveling all over the world.
Credentials and Education
Dr. Behar received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, where she also completed pediatric residency training. Her credentials have provided opportunity for her to practice pediatric medicine
in multiple states outside of Michigan including Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
