Home to Wayne State University Department of Pediatrics faculty physicians. Wayne Pediatrics is a comprehensive pediatric practice of experienced medical experts dedicated solely to the health and wellbeing of newborns, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Adams is a board-certified pediatric rheumatologist, specializing in the study and treatment of childhood illnesses of abnormal inflammation, such as arthritis, Lupus, vasculitis, and dermatomyositis. These illnesses of often require multidisciplinary specialty care from specialists including allergists, immunologist, nephrologists, and infectious diseases. Supportive services are also part of the care provided and can include psychologists, social workers and/or dieticians.
Credentials and Education
Dr. Adams received his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He also completed pediatric residency training in Brooklyn from Children's Medical Center and Kings County Hospital, and completed pediatric fellowship training at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
