Christopher Youngman, MD

Dr. Youngman is a board-certified pediatrician who provides health care to infants, children, and adolescents, from birth to 18 years of age. He treats common illnesses and conditions, monitors for patterns that may require additional evaluations, and recommends preventative vaccines and routine testing. He also partners with specialists to support the child’s overall care, makes referrals when appropriate, and utilizes telehealth to ensure his patient’s access to health care.

In addition to his role as a Wayne Pediatrics pediatrician, Dr. Youngman also serves as the practices’ chief medical officer. He works with physicians and staff to ensure the safety of patients, families, and staff, and coordinates with external partners to enhance patient care. He also ensures the practice is kept up-to-date on current medical literature and state/federal recommendations to provide patients with the highest standard of medical care. 

In his spare time, Dr. Youngman enjoys car and home repair, cooking, and spending time with his wife and children and their two dogs.


Credentials and Education

Dr. Youngman received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. He completed pediatric residency training in Detroit at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit Medical Center and at Children's Hospital of Michigan.
